Help with Gilt 1016 Explorer
I'm considering this Gilt 1016. Any thoughts on condition especially case is much appreciated. Looks like may have to replace the original crystal.

I’d be less worried about the crystal and more worried about the early stages of lume degradation on the hands, and what appears to be rust stains all over the place.

Got it. Was also considering this one for around same price:

I think it’s a great piece at a fair price. The patina is generally matching - I’d be keen to see if all the lume still glows as it should do after being exposed to light. I’d get the hand lumes stabilised when you get it serviced. Crystal is a non issue - like worrying about having worn original tyres on a 1960s Car.

Prices on these seem to be increasing exponentially in the past year or two.
