I am interested for this 1680 SN: 342 should be 1974 but not sure the dail is match for the year . the hand should be service hand , all other look fine to me . please give me some advise . thank you

For year production, 3.4 mil, should be a red submariner.. |

That is a service dial, after the normal Mk-1 to Mk-4 production.
No, this watch's production year, denoted by the 3.4 mil serial, would have come with a Red Sub dial - not white. |

Ic , this is early 1680 sub should with red .
What about mk1 white dial will fit this watch ? red 1680 too hard to find and cost too much . |

I would not change the current dial, why replace it with a Mk-1?

case looks good to me, chamfers still visible. Personally, if you can get a matching set of hands, that's good enough for me =)
