Roelx 1680 73's

I am interested for this 1680 SN: 342 should be 1974 but not sure the dail is match for the year . the hand should be service hand , all other look fine to me . please give me some advise . thank you

You are correct.

For year production, 3.4 mil, should be a red submariner..

Saw most of this dial in red sub but is that possible have white dial ? Is that call mark 3 ?

That is a service dial, after the normal Mk-1 to Mk-4 production.

No, this watch's production year, denoted by the 3.4 mil serial, would have come with a Red Sub dial - not white.

Ic , this is early 1680 sub should with red .
What about mk1 white dial will fit this watch ? red 1680 too hard to find and cost too much .

I would not change the current dial, why replace it with a Mk-1?

I think it is fine.

Ha .what about the red dial ? How much it will cost ? But I guess no one will sale it . What about the case and band , look like not much polished

Depends on the condition of the dial and if you acquire with a matching handset, apps. $3-5,000+...

Wow the match red dial are so expensive , what do you think of the case and band ?

case looks good to me, chamfers still visible. Personally, if you can get a matching set of hands, that's good enough for me =)

Yes , the case and band look good . the band still can see the big ROLEX logo very clear . if i am not wrong the band should be unpolished

Correct me if I am wrong, but that one looks like a MK VI dial...closed 6's and rounded "S" on SUBMARINER and SUPERLATIVE.
