Tudor 7016 Submariner

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Tudor-subma...%257Ciid%253A1

I have seen other threads suggesting that there are fairly prevalent fakes of this exact model and it really looks like may be the same story with the listing above. What do you think?

I am referring mainly to the following TRF thread:

I agree, I had a real one and do not like this one. Ask him the serial number I bet it' starts with 73.

Keeping bidder details private (schills ?) and covering their ass with a totally random description " .... As is, what you see is what you will get. All sales are final, no return. Watch is in working condition .... "  . That's not the behaviour of a good faith seller IMHO.

A good time to note though, a '73xxxx' serial number would ordinarily be a warning sign, rather than a death knell. There are perfectly legitimate Tudor Subs out there in that serial range. Specifically though, 737737 and 737738 have been outed before as fakees .... and I'm sure there's others
