New 78790 work on 1994 GMT?

Hi everyone: Looking to replace my old, well-worn original bracelet on my 1994 GMT (photo attached) with a modern 78790. Will a 78790 fit? Do I need a 78790A?

Thank you

Why not first look into getting Michael Young to repair it? Do a search here and you'll find info on him and his bracelet work.

Thank you for the response. It’s not technically broken, but it is well worn. I prefer simply to retire it in its box, keep its originality (I’m the Original owner), and find a new bracelet for safe, secure wearing of the watch.
