15450 wears similar to Rolex 16234?

I have been wearing the gray dial 15450 for awhile and the more I wear the more it reminds me of the older generation datejust 36 (16234). I used to wear the datejust often as it's given by my dad.

Size is a bit bigger but it gives me a vintage feel because of the relatively small size. Does anyone feel that way?

Not sure about the older dj's but i had a 36 from 2010 and no issues with the size (7+ wrist) The 15450 however always felt to small on me. Not the case, but the tiny dial made it look way to small even do i prefer smaller watches.
