14060M verification

Hi !
I'm about to pull the trigger on a 14060M F-serial and everything looks fine but i need your opinion about this picture:

I noticed there are multiple styles of engraving, so i just wanted to be sure about its authenticity.
If some of you guys have a 14060M F serial from 2004, 2005, if you could compare with yours, i'd be grateful.

On yours from the angle it looks as if a laser was used to engrave (little dots from the laser) that would indicate a fake. Also the spacing looks off.

I believe (please correct me if I'm wrong) that Rolex cases are stamped.

Look at the zeros, they are inclined to the left, specially the second one, right next to the M.

Suspicious enough to pass, IMO.

I just showed Larry's pic to the seller and he said that it was normal.
He said that he was one of the best Rolex specialist in Europe.
He's got very good rep. I don't know what to think now...

Here is the link to his store:

I need vets, experts, specialists, that's why i didn't post on WUS

In my opinion, the watch in question is legit.

Found couple of old threads.
Serial: http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=374745
Serial + papers: http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=321568

But like always, if you are hesitating and questioning yourself, don't buy it. Buy only then when you are 100% sure!

Like I said earlier, yours seems legit.

I haven't seen a legit modern Rolex with that sort of spacing in the engraving, but they do vary a bit. If he is an expert, ask for a pic of the movement with that serial nr. visible in the same pic.

Just for information, I had my answer. This watch is not fake. The spacing is normal between the lines in pre 2006 14060M.
The bracelet caused abrasion to the case and lead to erasure of serial numbers, that's why they removed the spacing.

That is incorrect; The narrow spacing also appeared in Y series from 2002.

Now i'm really confused but i ordered my 14060M from another seller anyway.
So it would mean that all "M" have narrow spacing. Rolexology is so complex...
