Please help!!

Hey everyone! I got this scratch on my watch. No idea how it even got there. It’s not deep and you can’t feel it when you run your hand over, it seems like just the brushed part got scratched off. Is this fixable ?!?!

That reassuring tho. I don’t want to overreact cause it seems like something Patek can solve in no time. Any idea on cost ?

To be honest I’m not sure but I def wouldn’t touch it. It looks brand new... I can tell you the aquanaut will look smaller. My first Patek was a preowned 67 10 years ago.. I would enjoy it, it will happen. Patek brushed steel get hairlines from air.
look at the difference in size.

I’ve polished my own nautilus... let’s just say it didn’t go well. It cost $150 at patek to polish. They need to take out the glass and movement to polish it properly.

I feel 100x better knowing it is possible to be buffed out but easier said than done. It’s going to bother me for a while.

You can definitely tell the ones that were polished a few time’s as the outer shiny edge is bigger and less brushed metal bezel. I guess if it really bothered you after a few times could get a new case but no doubt pricey. Best just not to polish at all and just enjoy it.

For some reason, i think nautilus and aquanaut bezels easily scratch if used regularly.

Just wear them as is. It’s a fact of watch wearing life.

I like the blemishes. Keep them coming and enjoy the watch.

Won't this void the warranty? Or there is already no more warranty?

I sold it to the new owner who sent it in to fix... I bought a second one :)

I didn’t open the case back or take out the movement to be clear. I polished it from the outside

Lol...I’m a chinese customer they can still reach right now...I’m not quarantined....

If they don’t want my money it’s fine I go spend it on some RM’s and AP and Seiko’s. I’m going to buy 100’s of Seiko.

But tbh I couldn’t deal with the scratches...and I sold it at MSRP

Even if you sold it for 100,000,000,000 profit. Remember it’s YOUR watch . But yes you have a big point with Pateks.. they look so ugly when they get scratched up. NOTHING like Rolex lol

You can but why would you? Its scratched, not dented. A polish will take it out at service time. The watch must of rubbed by some sort of object to create the darker scratch (ive only gotten the hairlines for now luckily)

No the bezel is one piece the middle case. Aqua is a two part case middle and screw on back. This was discussed awhile ago and a member received conformation from Patek that the bezel is "interrogated to the middle case' !
