PP 5711/white dial

Hello everyone,

I found an unworn 2016 nautilus 5711 white dial for 57k USD, is it worth it? Can’t get on any wait list in my country, they said it’s 8 years for any nautilus and I have to buy at least 2 other watches. I don’t intend on reselling it.

Any idea if the price is good and worth it?

Thanks.

I got an offer for 5711 white brand new 2019 $87K. So I guess depend on the condition and how bad you want it. But it’s true that waiting list etc isn’t possible without any past dealing. 5711 white dial is also discontinued, so not sure waiting list is possible even you could?

That was the ballpark price prior to being discontinued. Now , it is hard to find that price esp if unworn

To me that’s a lot of money to pay for a three hander even if it’s discontinued etc, etc. I’d look at the AP or Vacheron equivalents. That said, if it is what you want and you have the means, why not.

Intangible value is very hard for someone else to determine for you.

Since you asked, Brian gave you a good suggestion above: examine the AP and VC equivalents of this watch and go from there. Paying 40k more than the VC 4500 and 35k(ish) more than the AP 15500 for the white 5711 would be a tough pill to swallow for me.
