5370 Blue - Casual Strap

Hi All,
I am wondering what you think of this option I am trying on my 5370. The goal is to get the watch looking a little more casual for summer.

Maybe I should have gone with white stitching on the strap instead? However I didn’t want the strap to be too busy…

I think a navy fabric embossed calfskin strap with off white stitching would be smashing on the watch.

Thank you for your suggestion…. So something like the factory strap on the 5316/50P perhaps?

I like it. I wore my FPJ CB on an acollectedman “geneva” strap which is a dark brown nubuck of sorts and it looks great as a casual piece. I think it might work here just on a higher level!

I did the same thing on a Lange for the same reason as you and love it. I thought it would be temporary but have never changed it.
Would enjoy that this summer and change it up down the road. Love the look
Beautiful watch by the way.

Wow, the 5226/5326 strap compliments your 5370 nicely. I’ve put the same strap on my 5170p and love it.

Your Chronomètre Bleu looks super great with the dark brown nubuck strap. It is definitely along the lines of what I am looking for and this combo may also work well for me and my 5370! (If it happens don’t forget that imitation is the highest form of flattery:) lol).. thanks for sharing

You definitely have a winning combo here. The strap looks great! It certainly makes the watch more casual in a very classy way

Good step in the right direction but it might be worth to go further. Yes, white stiching might be the key.

Awesome awesome strap! It looks super tight. However I am not sure it make the 5370 more casual… in any case great choice and thanks for sharing. This will surely give me inspiration when I want to ramp things up again : ) a great look

One question is, how will you choose a strap that won't be destroyed by sweat in summer. I thought a light brown might do it more than a blue.

For sure when the heat and humidity are at max I will be wearing a steel sports watch. My intent for the 5370 would be more for the evenings/air conditioned moves. A light brown calf skin/suede would probably look really great! Any photos for inspiration?

Disposable item. You can have special linings if required.

Hi Russell- I really like the woven strap in picture 2- the woven bluish strap. Can you let us know type and where can be purchased?
