The Oris bronze diver combined with the dark blue dial is really nice, so, if true, I'm sure this will be stunning.

I wonder how many replies this thread would have if I choose for a title' SIHH 2017 sneak preview .. A new BRONZE' instead of 'bronze Panerai diver .... green or blue dial'

Still under the radar LOL
People are so lazy they don't open threads without a 'special' title LOL

The green dial version has gone nuts on price. I am sure this will sell out quickly on pure speculation.

Bet the price is a lot higher than than the last bronze Pam too.

I'm just not surprised by anything they do. Nothing is special or rare. People paying a premium will only be let down later when they release an equivalent watch.

I agree for most models ( for example California dials)
But we have to confess that the 2 previous bronze Panerai are an exception
Still very sought after and secondhand price between 20 and 25k is astonishing

Let me break out my crystal ball.

They answer to shareholders, not collectors. There will be enough bronzo eventually. Imagine what a 44mm bronze luminor would do....

BTW, there is nothing wrong with this. I'm not acting like I know how to run a watch company. Just saying...

^ I have to agree, for the overall bronze aesthetic, I prefer the "steam punk" look of the power reserve of the "pronzo". I think the cleaner dial looks better in steel (305).

I agree, part of the reason why I love my 507 over the original 382.
