Back with a PAM 423
I have owned a PAM 90, a 140, and I just completed a PAM 423 purchase with Sean Landsnaes. Love the dial power reserve and the gold hands. Good to be back. Much larger than my Omega Speedmaster Date, but I like it and the new movement.

A beauty!
I had the 422 for a while. Both the 422 and 423 are great references, just depends where one prefers the power reserve indicator. Enjoy

I guess it is how you like a less cluttered dial vs the front PR complication. My Speedmaster Date's dial is about as complicated as you can get, and the 423 dial seems uncluttered compared to it. |

The 423 is a beauty, and so is that Porsche! Enjoy them both!

I love both 422 and 423 references. As was mentioned it's where u want the power reserve. Speaking of power that Turbo S has plenty. Well done sir, how do u like the 4 wheel steering?

Thanks guys. I love the AWD and to be honest, this is my first 911, so I cannot really comment on standard 911 steering vs the all wheel steering of the TTS, but it handles like it is on rails.
I especially like the Burmeister Stereo it has, however.. |

Very nice and welcome back!
Personally, I now really like the PR on the dial - it was the 507 that convinced me how cool it can be. |

Nice pick up! the 372, 422, and 423 are the ones to get as of lately (so it seems).

I have had a decent variety of watch brands, Rolex, Omega, Panerai, Chronoswiss, Patek Philippe, and they have all been automatics. So this time I was zeroing in on a manual wind, but I did not want a 40-50 hour reserve manual if I could avoid it. I looked at the Jaeger Lecoultre Reserve de Marche, Reserve de Marche Ultra Thin, and their 8 Day manual wind models, and decided that they were all a bit too dressy for this purchase, albeit very nice timepieces.
The 3002 movement in the 423 was a nice compromise between an 8 day and a 40-50 hour power reserve, with a 3 day reserve. |
