Finally, I've managed to post a picture of my SD43.

An example would be the release of the deep blue deepsea in august, when they've always released at Basel in march. The ADs thought that that would be special and a limited run, but they're still going (unwanted in some areas) after 3 years.

And I know, pics or it never happened, but I haven't posted a pic on the forum ever since the format changed. I'm not a technophobe, but I still haven't managed to change the picture size.
It's true that nothing is impossible. But 50th ann. Sub had been in production for 6 years.....There's a much much much higher probability that 126600 won't be discontinued in a few years.

Let's me just state the obvious for any who lives in the UK...
Fly out to the US of A ...ideally mid west area and buy your Sea Dweller there...
Have a few days holiday at he same time...can get a flight for less than £500 job done....

Signed up at both my local ADs. Both called me ~1 month later within two days of each other.

Visited my AD last night. 3rd on the list. They had no idea when they'd be getting them in. Said they have gotten them very sporadically. I asked if the ones they've gotten went to VIP's and she said "No we have gone right down the waiting list. The list is huge at this point" - not sure I buy the part about the VIP's but oh well.

Figured I'd post an update on my various wait lists.

I called a third AD in my area to get on their list and talked to the associate for a little bit. He says they have received a TOTAL of two SD43's so far. More depressing than that, he told me that they were told by Rolex not to expect any more in stock until after the holidays. Ugghhhhh!

So while I'm #3 on their list, it will probably be January before I get the call.

I was told Sept/Oct by one of the other AD's but I think they were just guessing. Third AD told me they had no idea (3rd on their list too).

I'm depressed.....

Well...finally!

Stroke of luck...this one was spoken for, but by the time it was delivered, the guy had already changed his mind and got something else. So...who did they call?

There you have it...sometimes it pays to be nice to your friendly AD.

I am still waiting. Been toying with the idea of maybe getting a Polar Explorer II and something else instead...

Keep waiting it's worth it . Shortly after I started this thread 2 weeks I got the call from my AD. I made a point of not looking at one until I got the call . Well worth the wait
