May I ask why you decided to go with the jubilee instead of the Oyster? I can't make up my mind between the two so would like to hear your thought process if it's anything other than, "I like it better."

I personally like the comfort and "dressier" presentation of the jubilee. For me, it goes very well with suits and business attire. I also own a Sub C which obviously has the oyster bracelet. I equally enjoy wearing my Sub - but as my more "casual" and sportier timepiece. The jubilee offers a truly comfortable fit, and I think it looks stunning with the fluted bezel combo. But the jubilee also looks great with the smooth bezel.

I guess if I was only to own one watch, perhaps I would get the Oyster because of all around versatility. But I am sad to say that I have learned that I cannot settle for just one watch, which is why the Jubilee fits very well in my small collection that also includes a beautiful IWC leather band watch and some other more casual pieces.

The steel and white gold datejust 41 fluted bezel with jubilee comes with white, silver, blue, black, and rhodium dials.

All those options are not visible on the site. I didn't even know white was an option until I saw it in person today.

BTW, the 41 with the jubilee is fantastic.

Did a side by side with a DD 40..The DD was pure black
