I found something I love at Basel!!! 40 mm case FF! Not everyone will love the moisture indicator but I love orange and it's a nod to their past. Limited to 500 pieces. No word on pricing. Comes on either bracelet, sailcloth or NATO.

Price is $14,100, 20mm lug width. The NATO option is black. June/July delivery to US ADs.

Certainly a winner, but at such a premium over a sub I'm having a hard time justifying it.

Idk why 40 but it's perfect for me as I find the current 45 a touch large even with a 7" wrist. Original was 42 I believe

Haha I see your point.

Remember back in the 50s a watch capable of going down with divers was new technology. If the seals failed the divers could be without a valuable tool that could cost them their life. The water tight indicator became a spec for US Navy.

Today it's just a novelty but I think a cool one

it's the moon phase for divers

This is a great looking watch. I love the moisture indicator and the 40mm size. It is historically accurate.

I have the 45 mm regular production watch and it has been accurate and reliable.

Thank you for the input! I have never owned a BP so was researching the movement in this one, which is different from the standard FF one ( as it's a smaller case), and it seems to be a long running F Piguet workhorse 1151.

I'm looking for reasons not to pull the trigger and haven't come up with any yet.

I searched for the 42mm anniversary edition FF for some time before deciding I did not want to buy an out of warranty BP as I have no experience with the brand.

haha, Pokemon dial. I remember I was looking at Cartier rings, and thought of the same thing.

At least now there is a watch that can match Cartier jewelry.

I really want to see this in person, and the 38mm Bathyscaphe. Love they're moving towards reasonable sized divers.

If I did not already have the model I have, I would be going for this one. It is one watch I look forward to wearing when the weather turns warmer, they are eye catching to say the least.

Yes! I guess Rolex turned my SDc into a watch for others and BP turned the FF into a watch for us

No question the 114060 is a great watch and hard to argue against. I have a line on one with a better deal than that
