Rolex maxi (luminova) vs Tudor lume test

I am doing a little comparison of the Rolex luminova maxi dial (ala Yachtmaster) and the maxi dial of the Tudor Black Bay.

In person the Tudor is slightly whiter and brighter.

And after the initial fade:
The Tudor is slightly brighter and has a slightly bluer tint. The slightly better visibility of the Black Bay is likely simply due to the larger lume area on the hands and slightly larger markers.

Large area wins every time with the same lume material.

In my mind, the lume on the Sub looks the best in all the comparison photos...the color just looks right to me without looking cheap

Love the Seamaster lume. Clean looking.

In my opinion the undisputed king of Tudor lume is the Pelagos. Cannon.

So after 9 hours in the dark.....The maxi dial on the Rolex was legible but the hands were very faint. The Tudor with its massive hands were clearly legible.
