They're rarely on center with any watch company. I actually got lucky with the RG model.

But the RG is perfectly centred, if ever you needed a reason to ditch the other one then there it is :)

If mine had been off centre it would have gone back, that's how much it bugs my eye.

That would be a ludicrous reason to get rid of it! I've never had a single watch except the RG Schumi have the crown aligned perfectly. I'd only have one watch left if I started thinking like that...

Of course I wasn't being serious that YOU should ditch one because of the crown, but I would, hence the " :)", no matter.

p.s.

But OCD is catching, and now you and everyone reading this post will be looking at their crowns and questioning the fact that they aren't perfectly positioned. Misery loves company so they say....

I only have one real watch and it serves no purpose whatsoever other than to weigh my wrist down and look perfectly centred! It just about manages to tell the time, for which I have an iPhone that does a better job. Oh the joy of AP ownership.

Anyway, nice pics, sorry to have infected you and your new found fascination with the position of the crown :)

I think the contrast of colors, especially with the white on the dial, and the contrasting pushers to the case - make the Rose Gold the nicer watch...

However, I have a strong preference for non-RG sport watches. So i'm going to call it a tie!

Thanks for the great pictures - enjoy them and wear them in the best of health!

The first scratch bothers me more than the crown being off center.....

I got over that fascination years ago. None of my watches have ever had a perfectly aligned crown before...

My watches are pieces of art, and sometimes jewelry, to me, so I'm only concerned with a reasonable level of accuracy. They are accurate enough for my needs to tell time when I wear them in their rotations.

Amazing. You're a lucky man. I would imagine the Ti is more comfortable because of weight no?

I don't mind heavy watches. I'm used to wearing platinum pieces. If anything it makes me more conscious that I am wearing it so I don't bang it into things....

Thanks! I needed something in rose gold and look what happened.... I ended up with two watches!

BTW, the Instagram isn't me. Someone asked if they could post my pics there and I said OK. I don't have an account...

I personally hate Instagram's policy that stipulates that whatever you post becomes their property. No way I am letting them get away with that. n:

Not correct. They removed that policy pretty much right after announcing it!

Yay! Seems like a fun medium. Plus, I love the inital stage of being lost and trying to figure a new thing out (sort of like marriage all the time!!!)....

Hey Carl, have you fully recovered from all the Baselworld afterparties? It was nice meeting you there.

You are correct. Maybe I wasn't clear enough. This is the part of the Privacy Policy that I have a problem with. At the end of the day you really don't know what they end up doing with it and how long it stays in their control. Commercially reasonable time sounds quite ambiguous in my opinion.

How long we keep your User Content:

Following termination or deactivation of your account, Instagram, its Affiliates, or its Service Providers may retain information (including your profile information) and User Content for a commercially reasonable time for backup, archival, and/or audit purposes.
