DJ36 - Blue Dial Fluted Motif
Really want to add a blue dial Rolex to the collection. This could be the answer.
Anyone seen in person. Looks like it is only avail on 36 and not 41. Current: - 16622 & 18078 - Tudor GMT - 79830 Past: - Sub Serti Silver 16613 - Sub SS w/Date

I've been eyeing that model as well. I have not been able to see one in person either. I would also love to hear people's feedback. I've been stopping by my local AD's, hoping to even be able to see an exhibition watch, but no such luck. One of my local AD's said they have only seen one come through their store.

I tried on an exhibition one at the Rolex Boutique in Westfield Century City last week. It was a 41, and it was in fact a beautiful watch. Plenty of bling between the Jubilee bracelet and fluted bezel against the blue roman dial. Nice!!

I don't think the fluted motif dial is available with the Roman numerals. Do they offer it? Romans would look good on that dial!

I bought one 4 months ago and it is more beautiful than the pictures. I love mine.

I got mine a couple months ago. Beautiful dial. I chose a jubilee bracelet with smooth bezel to modulate the bling and I really like it. Normally I would only combine a jubilee with fluted bezel, but I found that to be too much bling with this dial so I went with the smooth bezel. My AD said they haven’t seen many of these dials.

You my be correct but that’s what I thought I saw. I was paying more attention to the YG DD, white Roman dial so I just didn’t focus on the Datejust. I do remember thinking it was way better looking in person than I had seen in photos.

I got one with smooth bezel & oyster. I think it tones down the ‘bling’, which I like…
It’s a great piece, IMHO. |
