My Gondolo pics

Hi all,

Strapped this one on after a while so thought I would share some pics. Superb timepiece in all respects, really a perfect Patek (5124J).

A beautiful watch and one of the few PP that appeal to me.

The movement is epic, a curved shaped movement to fit the case finished flawlessly. A huge reason I bought this timepiece. Thanks!

One of the rare cases where Patek has actually built a movement to fit the case. Compared to the in all other respects legendary 5196 where the beautiful cal. 215 movement has to been hidden away because it would otherwise look embarrassingly small compared to the case, the Gondolo movement / case pairing is a refreshingly different approach.

I keep looking at Gondolos on Chrono24 thinking "Shall I go for it?"

Apologies! Absolutely go for it while they are still relatively good value compared to other Pateks. The blue dial white gold version is also sublime and would love to be that one as well but always difficult to buy 2 of the same model!

I think a elegant classic, always reminds me of the watch to wear when heading to the casino, don't know why.

I have the 5124G - the white gold with salmon dial version. They are all stunning, and one of the few Pateks where you feel you are getting value for money. A good pre-owned Gondolo costs less than many of the Rolex steel sports pieces (grey) - insane value.
