If there was any year where things would be going differently it’s this one. I don’t think it’s safe to judge anything based off what we have experienced in the last 6-7 months.

Not disappointed in the slightest, and certainly I’m not dwelling on the thought of feeling like I’ve “missed“ anything since I never felt it to be a good long term investment. I just don’t buy hype.

I feel like I accidentally quoted the wrong post. I don’t think my reply was intended for you (at least not this particular quote). I’m on Tapatalk on my phone which I have to force exit quite a bit. That, combined with all the 9/1 release posts, might have caused some wires to get crossed. Weird.

You all know I'm as big a bull as anyone out there, but even I'm beyond belief right now.

There have been very few buying opportunities of late, and tech has been non-stop. Something's gotta give at some point.

Yes, don't fight the Fed - but again, that doesn't mean blindly throwing money at the market because it has been such a dark shade of green.

Completely agree

I have changed my focus and trading activity a lot since March. A side benefit of working from home is that I now have more resources and tools available to me all day long. Because of that my trading activity has gone up by several times my normal activity. While I have not yet become a day trader, I am making more short term trades and while I worry about a correction or worse, I feel better about being able to manage it. And the best part is that my trades and gains are keeping me happy in what is a very depressing time.

Pretty large dip at open for a few of the stocks in my portfolio.

Added to FSLY, PINS, APPS and SE. Took a nibble at TDOC as well.

Same here. Hit some stops, but I tend to more conservative about protecting my profits than some. Looking to add on FLSY, SE, and BABA.

A few of my stops got triggered. Of course right at the bottom. So I had to quickly jump back in on a few. I’ll lower my stops a bit more (I’m still new to this short term stuff).

This article thinks so

I am long but the stock is high beta, given their product and market I am comfortable with my position and would add more on dips

Market settling down a bit now; hope people were able to take advantage this morning!

TSLA with the drop all the way down to 405 earlier. GOOGL, FB and AMZN staying relatively strong all day.

Two of the top five articles this morning on Seeking Alpha are about the coming crash.

Also saw an interesting exchange on Twitter regarding what is being called a gamma squeeze. This is where sellers of deep out of the money call options are being forced to buy the underlying equity to hedge their position. How much this is causing the markets to spike higher is just a guess?

Zuora, CrowdStrike, Broadcom, Robinhood - 5 Things You Must Know Thursday

DOCU and AVGO earnings today. I am long AVGO

And to no ones surprise Robinhood is being investigated by the SEC

Looks like we're going to get another day of dips.

Money on the ready - I do firmly believe the upward trajectory continues (e.g. the beginning of a bull market), though there will be times of pain.

I'm remaining fully invested and not looking to sell large stakes in any of my stocks.

Yeah. Bound to be some profit taking before a long weekend and after such a long stretch of gains, I’m just riding it out and not selling anything. Who knows - maybe this selling is in part some “correction“ for some overvalued stocks. No major news to trigger a crazy sell off currently. Added a bit on the dip yesterday, but mostly content with where I’m at. A bit of cash waiting still, but today is not the day for me.

Looking to be an ugly day for the nasdaq. Can't really complain though, bound to be a bad day or two every once in a while especially when things have been running as hot as they currently are.
