New IPHONE 12 soon to be announced

Here is my first post from the new iPhone 12 pro. Coming from a 11 pro, there does not seem to be a huge difference. Definitely feels different in the hand. The blue is nice, but I think I prefer the 11 pro green color.

It's interesting because Apple connoisseurs are a lot like people who can appreciate the Rolex brand as well. Just in the thinking.

I finished my MBA last year and I was in a class when the professor asked "how many people in here think iphones are too expensive?" and the entire group of 35 of us raised our hand. 100% of us said it is an overpriced product.

And then she asked "how many of you have an iPhone?" and everyone but me raised their hands.

There were other questions asked and this wasn't the point she was trying to make but I thought it was interesting and mentioned Apple does an amazing job with their branding.

I mean how does Apple manage to get a group of knowledgeable, intelligent, hard working people to say "this product is overpriced but I am going to knowingly and willingly overpay (significantly) for this product simply because of the brand"?

Normally if you took this group and told them they paid twice as much as everyone else for a comperable product, they'd be pissed.

At the very least you have to appreciate what they've done with branding alone.

Currently using a X and will be making the switch to the 12 pro as the X is kind of old at this point plus it has a cracked front screen.

Thinking of getting the blue one (always had the black) but can't tell from online pictured whether I'll like it or not. For anyone that has gotten it already, do you mind posting a pic of the phone, thoughts on the color? thnks

Well, apparently my 12 Pro is fukin delayed. UPS - “An emergency situation or severe weather condition has delayed delivery.”

There’s a chance it may not be delivered today. Maybe Monday. My son’s 12 is out for delivery.

Yours is probably going through all the checks and quality controls so it will last until the next model comes out.

Those other guys got theirs early because theirs fell off the assembly line.

Of course, anytime. I think I still prefer the green a little, but the blue is nice.

Just got the 12 Pro delivered. The blue is subtle but nice. So far I prefer it over last year's green.

Now, to get a case or roll naked... Going caseless is just so nice in the hand.

Yeah I normally skip apple care plus but I think I’ll buy it this time and forgo a case as usual.

They haven’t even really turned it on yet United States to the level it’s going to be at permanently in the near future. In fact from and I understand it’s not even close. 99% of people don’t have a 5G phone yet so why would the cell phone companies start it up yet?

I picked up my 12 pro blue yday and love it so far! The grip is better and the color is a 5711-y grey blue lol.
Also picked up the puck charger but it’s a tad slow. Cable obviously faster.

I’ll pass. How many times in a calendar year do I need to spend $1500 on a phone. The display isn’t even 120hz and the other upgrades are marginal at best. Money grab IMO. This kind of makes you wonder how far ahead the technology is contained within these company’s vaults. Do they already have the technology that will be released 5 years from now as “the newest must have stuff!”? A neat way to trickle things out and assure waves of cash coming in annual increments. Sorry, I’m an apple guy at heart but this new release doesn’t impress me. I am not knocking anyone who grabbed one right away this is purely my take. Hopefully whoever picked one up enjoys it because that’s what matters. I’ll stick with my 11 pro Max for now.

It's not that tight, i can move the watch on my wrist without it turning. It's a serious subject for me, too tight or too loose but i have found the perfect setting on the YM. I confess that i like when it tight but i must be able to move my wrist without any problem

Lol ! It is a serious subject too !!!! I magnetize EVERY watch i had except Rolex, i don't know why !!!! Aleatory precision, power reserve issue ect !!!

Thank you my friend ! My previous phone is an 8+ (that i LOVE, it's my Boy, never left me down in more than 3 years) so i don't know but the night mode is fantastic too, excellent things for Apple phone

Solid take. Probably more so because I happen to agree with it.
I’m an Apple guy as well but I’ll stick with my lowly X for now. I need a little more incentive to upgrade. The 120hz display would be a very good start for me.

I think this is a fair comment, I have a 11 Pro Max, I don't normally mind shelling out for the latest, but on this occasion the changes I would see would be minimal at best and none at all at worst. I think I will wait to see what the "S" version brings next year.
