Horrible! The only hummer is the original. Far too much electronics to break, who is buying this and then going rock crawling lol good thing there is a camera under the truck. And zero emissions, except where do they think the electricity comes from? Give me a old cj7 I’d be more happy.

Used to see Arnolds Hummer at Golds Gym in Venice California back in the early 90s I think.

He had his own parking spot. This was before any civilians had or wanted one.

This pic is just him and a fan from the internet.

Nope, mainly just jeeps. Occasionally you’ll see a lifted excursion with manual lock hubs on trails, but GMs of the era were terrible off-road. And their transfer cases were designed like garbage so they would break the cases regularly at the lockout and leak oil/fail even with minimal 4wd use. Early 6.0 liters would randomly lose oil pressure because of faulty o ring seals at the oil pickup tube as well causing crank bearing failures. I can only imagine how many more front CV shafts you’d burn through with a lift kit as well. You would have to replace so much to make one trail worthy, then there just isn’t a lot of aftermarket support for them so you’d be limited on choices and paying through the teeth.

Just 350 miles out of 200 kWh? Pretty bad specs.....

Still, if it gets more people interested in EV, why not.

I used to see Hummers in the motorpool daily, does that count?

Heck at one point I had about 15 of them assigned to my platoon that I was responsible for.

C'mon guys.

We've got every truck brand on the road now looking like a jacked monster truck that you need a ladder to climb into and we know that 90% have never even had a sheet of plywood in the cargo bay even though they made the tailgate electric assist.

Now we get this Hummer supposedly designed to climb rock walls and navigate Death Valley, complete with "Super Cruise", automatic lane changing, Crabwalk, and 18 camera views (although lets face it, most of the cameras will be so you can look at yourself), and all complete with an interior nicer and more plush than your living room.

How can we pull off our toxic masculinity with this stuff when deep down we know they're actually designed for soccer moms.

What the hell has happened to us????

How did 'going commando' devolve to mean, not wearing our silky soft underwear???

Seriously, automatic lane changing????? Because we don't have the arm strength anymore to move the power steering assisted steering wheel.

It's appalling.

I think it's cool tech and crazy fast for the size. I won't own one though.

This is a disaster waiting to happen. People can't drive as it is, at least in this state. Adding potential fails point, how will some react in the event of a malfunction? The truck is cool, and I wouldn't mind trying one out for a bit.

I'm not a Hummer Fan

Kind of cool - but for such a huge vehicle they could packed extra batteries in for more range perhaps

Biggest concern is all the yahoos that will be driving army tanks that do 0-60 in 3 seconds over the next 5 years as electric trucks roll out en mass. Not to mention young kids driving the family SUV that’s now a rocket ship and heavy as hell lol

THIS!!!! The 0-60 really isn't the biggest issue, it's the 60 - 0. These things weigh a ton. My Tesla X almost burned me because I underestimated how much weight I was moving.
