This forum is a bad influence...Incoming

Especially you jpeezy

Saw this on instagram a year or two ago and it caught my eye and has ever since anytime I see it posted here or there. Finally seeing it again in the "Zenith had to go" thread I couldn't take it anymore and pulled the trigger. So glad I finally did it checks so many boxes for me and I really think it fits my wrist (17-18cm somewhere) as well as any watch I've ever tried on.

Congratulations!! Great pickup.

The dial is truly something else, and the fit and finish of the entire watch is amazing. I think people are really coming around to understanding what the Alpine Eagle is and what it delivers; the whole "Genta copy" thing can now take a backseat to its true worth. Really love the brand and the history / story behind the AE.

We don't even have to mention the dial...

Thanks!

It really is the whole package (minus maybe nothing to really look at movement-wise but maybe I'm just used to my Breguets and GOs). Going to wait til out of honeymoon but on initial wear it's just fantastic so glad to add it.

Have always wanted to check this out. That dial in photos is pretty ace. But have never seen in person.

Congrats and it's super comfortable to wear. I went to check it out when it first came out and I was surprised that I really liked both dial colors especially the gray. Blue is classically beautiful.

Congrats! That dial is a true stunner and everything just looks like it fits very well together.

Bets on this being the next classic/ must-have/ no-chance-of-obtaining-at-retail?

Congratulations OP

You really have to watch out for Jesse … his photos tend to make the dreariest of days look like rainbows and sunshine

Brian, between you and Jesse we all look like we have no fashion sense and live in a family full of ogres. Jesse apparently has a world renowned photographer that follows his family around taking candid photos. I think he has a side gig with his family as professional models.
