721 availability and pricing
So I’ve never really liked the look of the RAD’s.
Until I stumbled upon the 721 cruising davidsw’s site. Did a little digging. I am in absolute love with that watch. How hard are they to get? I know it was a limited piece last year. seems to be about $10k. Would that price be out of the question being it’s limited? |

Great watch and very collectable for the Panerai fan. If you wanted it, I would get my best price and go for it.

Like everything else in the world sometimes googling takes the luster out of things.....
So besides being the official Nazi dive watch it’s a great piece Funny/not funny If one was going to keep it for many years and with only being 1k made it seems that it might not be a terrible decision to buy at that price BUT who knows They might go full production in a few years and flood the market 372 style... I like it BUT not sure how much I like it against the 372/422/423 $6k price tag mint used or $7200 NIB |

I am going to check at the Boutique today, and see if it might be possible to still get one of these. They were able to get me a 720 a couple of weeks ago, and it is a limited edition of only 500. I think the 721 is 1000, so maybe there is hope. Although I love the 720, I do have a love for that "anonimo" dial as well, and a remarkable historical piece.

Unbelievable! When I walked into the Vancouver Boutique today and looked in the first display by the door, there was a 721 staring me in the face! Don't know where they got it, didn't ask, put down a deposit and will have it in a few days, or maybe even tomorrow.
Even though I have the 720, which I love, I get chills down my spine every time I see a pic of the 721. Same as I got when they introduced it around Basel 2017. Even though the 720 and 721 are the same except for the 721 having the "anonimo" dial, most enthusiasts will "get" it. Even if they don't, I am pleased as Hell to be fortunate enough to own both! Cheers, Carl

I felt very fortunate to get the 720. However, to me they are both two entirely different watches. The history behind them is what I find fascinating. I have flipped a lot of watches in my time, although I always did research on each and every model I got. I can honestly say, though, I have never felt the affinity that I have with Panerai, with any other brand. You will not be sorry when you manage to get one of these models. Cheers, Carl

Sort of..... It kind of shows you where the brand is standing currently. Those are both limited to 500 and 1000 pieces I believe. Thats not to terribly many for the whole world. Seems to me that a 500 piece watch wouldnt sit around to long in most cases.

But the 720 with the blue hand is also similar to the 232 (gold hand) which has 2,000 pieces. So I think the 721 would be the first to go. Good thing that Panerai is not making noise on the 721. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
