Not my cup of tea. Are those printed? It would be a lot cooler if they were sandwhich...
Not even from some sort of snooty Pam purist perspective (which I’m not since I don’t know everything about past models ) Imo they aren’t aesthetically pleasing to the eye. |

Interesting to look at, but not something I’d add to the stable. I’d like to see them in person as I’d bet they’re much more interesting than they appear in photos.

Saw them at SIHH. definitely very interesting but not sure how they will be perceived by a lot of people. Very interesting mix of vintage and modern look wrapped up.

I like the off white dial, but wish the dials had a bit more Panerai dna. I’m sure they’re a homage to some historic piece which I’m unaware. Sandwich would’ve been cool. Now I’m getting hungry.

Setting aside the “Art Deco” feel, which has absolutely zero relevance to Panerai, they look nice and it’s cool to see something different.

I think they’re great looking, to a non-risti probably more so as they would have no interest in the dna or lack of it with the dials. I don’t think I’d want one as I feel I’d get tired of it quickly.

I really like those. Very Art Deco, which I love. Where do you come across these? And is there any historical significance to the model, just wondering. Historical or not, I really like them. I think I would prefer them on a regular Radiomir dial with the wire type lugs, though. Just wonder if they are special Boutique edition.

Absolutely zero historical connection. The first Panerai came about a decade after the Art Deco period, and there has never been a Panerai with a similar dial or hands. Doesn’t mean they aren’t nice looking. |

AFAIK the dial of this watches is taken from the table clock originally displayed at the first Panerai store in Firenze

What does the group think of these pieces?
This model has a plexiglass instead of sapphire crystal and, to strengthen the original design, it has a dial without the use of any Super-Luminova.
The distinctive, original element is the dial in ivory color. It is inspired by the wooden pendulum clock located in Historic Boutique in Florence. The spear-shaped hands, the copper color ring and the Art Déco style numbers give this vintage Watch a distinctive appearance. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I think the Radiomir 1940 case is a good match for the dial. I probably wouldn't get one, but as a special edition they are interesting.

Not for me,probably this is the first no lume panerai
they had models with diamonds on the bezel and dial back in early 2000s so no lume on the dial, but even these models have lume on their hands |

Beautiful looking watch. Is this a production model or just a prototype? Can't seem to find a reference number

Limited edition Not on the website yet but covered by Ny times magazine, Hodinkee, etc. Dial reminds me of the boiler gauge DJ, but the case is a 47mm hubcap. |
