Platinum DDII - below the radar, dress up or down, valuable enough to get me out of any sticky situation...

IF I could only have one, I would have a Yellow Gold SubC with diamonds.
My second place is the dd I currently wear and love. It fits my skin tone and goes with me everywhere, but if It were just one, I'd want a precious metal sports watch. Right now I'm chill with the dress watch while saving for the sports watch but I can't stop buying houses in the pacific northwest where the prices are just soooooo good!!! The gold sub can wait til the end of the year... *sigh* |

Breitling Seawolf Avenger. 44 mm titanium wrecking machine. If you bang it into something, you don't worry about the watch, just see what it hit. It has a case capable of 10'000 ft depths. It is powered by a Valjous 7750, that has been stripped down. The movement is as smooth and accurate as can be. This in my nominee.

I would be a DJ116200 or the SubDate.
Although I like the NoDate for the model more, smaller case, bracelet, lug holes. Problem stays the date.....

14060M Sub....
It gets the most wrist time of any watch I have ever owned. By far my favorite.

+1 given the adventure nature of the OP's criteria. The GMT II C would usually be my ready pick but the rotating bezel is more of a liability than an asset in rough going.
Interestingly, of the five rolex watches i am blessed to own, the ExplorerII and the Exp42 are not among them ... yet. ;) |

Well, I AM at war, and I came over here with just my Date.
I've since added a second watch though, a Thunderbird.
