Awesome photos, I especially like the matching rings.

Thanks for sharing

Hi, John. Those two pieces are "Callisto" models from the "Windrider" series. Unfortunately, that particular model was discontinued after 2004 although the brand does still have similar models. A few specifics for wifey's Callisto's... The diameter is a bit larger than many ladie's watches being 34.4mm. The larger size is what attracted my wife to the model because it's easier to read than the smaller models. The movement is Breitling's caliber B77 thermocompensated "SuperQuartz" specified to better than +/- 15 seconds/yr but in actual use typically is better than +/- 5 sec/yr. COSC specs for quartz movements are +/- .07 sec/day (+/- 25.65 sec/yr) and of course the HEQ SQ movement is certified well inside those specs. The OEM diamond bezel and the MOP dial are set with "Top Wesseltons", E color, VVS clarity, as near to "flawless" as you'll see in most ladie's jewelry. The steel is 316L stainless and the gold on the two tone model is solid 18K except for the bracelet link segments which are 20 micron "rolled" gold. The "wings" logo is also solid 18K (white gold on the all steel piece). The deployant clasp on the bracelet is easily and quickly "micro" adjustable for length and has three removable links for macro sizing. I gave my sister a Callisto a few years ago and all three links had to be removed because she has very thin wrists. Below is a shot of her Callisto and removed links which I had made into earrings and pendant for her. The white gold posts and bale were laser soldered onto the SS link segments. Took quite a while to find a jeweler who would undertake the task for me. His brother had just purchased a very expensive laser soldering machine and thought he could do it. Just something a bit different anyway....

I will post pics of my Mom's, daughter's and wifey's other Breitlings later on. Gotta jet now.
Best,
Ron

Hi, LOLx. Thanks for the comments. Below is a smaller Breitling she used to have (31.8mm dia "Cockpit Lady") with a different ring.
best,
Ron

Beautiful watches! I owned the Callisto in SS with white MOP dial (no diamonds) and it was a lovely piece. It was in 2003 I believe.

The only reason I decided to part with it after wearing it for close to 2 years was because at 34mm, it started to feel small to me. Pity Breitling discontinued the style!

Hi, kcmo. I understand. My wife also likes larger watches and not just for the easier legibility. She enoyed wearing my 43.7mm Chronomat Evolution when I still had the Pilot bracelet without the UTC module which she dislikes. Selling that bracelet and keeping the UTC specific bracelet means I don't have to fight her for wearing rights anymore... Below is a wrist shot of her 34.4mm SS Callisto to give you an idea of her wrist size. I think the Galactic 41 would work well for her but she prefers the non-mechanical Superquartz for reasons I have trouble understanding... I have a nice winder but still... I would love to see the Callisto brought back but sized up to 41-43 mm. I'm sure I could get her to trade up if that were to happen. Oh, well...
Best,
Ron

Ron,

Lovely indeed! My mom actually had that same one, but without the diamond markers. I sold hers for her for the same reason (she had graduated to Rolex models that were larger) about 2 years ago.

I just can't wear anything under 36mm anymore...and for me, 40mm is max.

Love the Chrono Evos too! I've never tried one on as I always thought it would be a bit too large for me (my wrist is about 6.5"). The Pilot bracelet ROCKS! I haven't seen the Galactics in person either, but they look great in photos.
