Of course if you guys like it...it is very nice!

If you're going in the dress line I'm guessing a Calatrava would be a good addition. What about the 5196? I especially like the platinum model's dial.

The 6102 is something I would want to look at as much if possible if I did decide to get it. So yes I'm pretty sure I would wear it.

*Dramatic music*

What are we going to do!?

I'm afraid you'll have to make the first steps guys, one of us has to go work for a bit! I shall be back this evening to see your suggestions!

As always, keep up the good work comrades!

The 5738P with the blue dial looks kind of cool, I know we already have a simple Calatrava, but this one looks kind of neat.

I'll bet that blue looks real special up front in person.

Let's think about this one for the day and reconvene this evening.

This is a very important decision.

Stick around or show back up, it's your choice Paulie.

But you might want to get a better iPhone, we still have a ways to go.

Well, I decided to go ahead and order my copy of:

Patek Philippe in America Reference Guide Volume 1

I just ordered about an hour ago.

I think it will make an excellent addition to my small library of watch reference books.

VERY NICE BUY DAN!!

___

Also, to round out our top six in a group buy, I was thinking about the following for the last one:

- We should each pick one that WE (individually) would like outside of the group buy to keep.

- The watch does NOT have to be PP, but can be any brand (of course within reason).

- Watch must be current day (i.e. available for purchase new).

- Basically would be our grail of modern day watches...no matter the brand, price (don't let this dictate your decision) and to be held without judgement (not that any of us would).

What do you think Dan??

Sounds good, but I think it might be best to discuss the seperate categories first, then come back to our overall 6 most desireable watches.

Sound good?

Okay, but just want to make sure that 'top 6 most desirable watches' initially started as a 'group buy' about PP only, but the last one I suggested could be ANY brand...

Sounds good tome.

However since we have 7 categories of men Patek Philippes, lets make this 7 Patek Philippes and one other any other brand.

For a total of 8 watches, Ok?

So we have 5 watches so far, 2 more Patek's to choose and 1 from another brand, am I right now?

We did not mean to leave you out in the cold by no means my friend.

However we did decided to change the game up a little bit thereby extending our fun.

Actually we decided to go back and discuss them by category, and try to pick a best by category if you will.

Please join us over in these new threads when get a chance.

No, no. We are just on a detour, because we come back to reveal each our own personal favs (any brand, current day, etc...see rules above). Group buy is still on
