New 3120 Movement for 15400 - Concerns with Winding
Just sent my 15400 in for servicing because the date got stuck and the watch is dead. Service centre changed the movement to a new one.
Now I found that when I wind it, after one or two rotations of the crown, I can sense and hear a "Tsk" sound each time. ( as though the spring slipped) Checked with the service centre and they say it is normal. I am not convince so would like seek some advice from experts here if anyone experienced this, and if all the new 3120 movements have this unique sensation. Please advise. Thanks |

If you can visit a local dealer with one on display, have a play with theirs and compare.
If it’s completely different, speak with APSC again. Moreover, why did they exchange movements, rather than fix the one it was fitted with originally? |

I had no idea why they changed the movement. Had the watch for three years without problems.
I will try to visit a boutique and try out as suggested. Thanks. |
