Non standard 18k bracelet

I am interested in finding out more information on this bracelet - from the 60s I think.

I have searched under rare bracelet, mesh bracelet but although there is a brilliant bracelet thread in the reference section and I think the pictured one is maybe ref 8623 but I am not sure.

I wonder if these were prone to adverse wear - or other problems - are they any more a liability than a nice President or Jubilee?

Any information on this bracelet would be really appreciated.

Thanks very much for any links to resources or information.

There were a number of bracelet options back in the 60's and 70's; Gay Freres customs and others.

This one looks like it might be a Carl Bucherer design.

Often these designs, like Florentine models, carried the bracelet design into the case and bezel.

Thanks very much, that’s exactly the same one isn’t it…I hadn’t seen that. References a South American market, interesting.

Ah, I hadn’t connected the two, yes although I can’t see a direct example where it is named, from the Bucherer website this is clearly if not by him an influence one way or the other. Thank you for commenting.
