44mm Forged Carbon

Hi all!

I've been offered a FC 44mm with a pretty nice price! The watch is in pristine condition and it has been serviced a while ago.

What do you guys think about the watch? I know they are discontinued and their prices seem to be going up and up.

Picking it up next wednesday.

I love the fc ap’s but simply can’t afford one lol. Even the fc diver is crazy expensive so I settled with the 15710. Go fo it if you like it and can afford it and trust the seller.

no concerns with that then

3 month turnaround time... sounds exactly like AP UK service center.

It's a bit too all black for me but an interesting piece and one to put on a red GP strap for sure.

I traded my 44mm steel for a FC last month. They are definitely very different watches. As has been covered here & elsewhere, it's a very stealthy piece, if someone isn't a WIS, it's very unlikely they will notice the watch at all; at least not as being valuable.

What drove me to switch was the fact that they are cool (in their own way) and that they have been discontinued and are relatively hard to find. While there is the possibility of prices going up, I suspect they will mostly remain stable unless AP decides to bring them back or if a new/comparable technology is released.

It's a nice piece but I'm not sure about the prices going up. It seems most have transitioned over to the all ceramic pieces when going for an all black look. I suppose the point is, if you love the watch and it's a great price, do it...but not because you think the price trends are up...

This. I have a feeling forged carbon pieces are falling out of favour for ceramic. FC will deteriorate over time unlike ceramic.

I always loved this watch and now I managed to find one in great shape, LNIB, serviced just a while ago.

Here are some pics of this beauty. I love the marble style it has and its lightweightness!!

Just don't know what to so right know, as long as I have another 26400 but in TI. Should I sell it?
