Is this off alignment?

Hi everyone! Good Thursday!

Is this consider out of alignment for the day wheel? It is spot on for the rest of the days only Thursday seems a bit off to the left hand side... Is it me or? Should I sent it back to the factory?...

Oh... Nevermind... I guess i am just too much of an ass hahahaha...

Anyway just to share some photo of this gorgeous watch!

g'day!

I've seen many of these where the day is not perfectly centred. That is acceptable to me.

Maybe that's why Rolex always pictures their adverts with "Monday" in the day aperture

No, you have the right off-set IMHO...for example, look at this older one and you'll see same difference in spacing...

Paul what you said is true.. Only the Thursday is a little off centered towards the left side, the rest of the days are perfectly aligned. I called by Rolex center, I was told they are more than willing to make it right for me ASAP and will give the watch a light refurbishing if it is necessary FOC. This is Singapore's Rolex Center. Well.. I told them I will think about it maybe my next trip over to Singapore. But second thought, i own this watch around 2 years now and only today I realize it is off centered, I guess I is not that bad huh...

Thank you everyone for your kind inputs and really appreciate it!

.. james

Beautiful watch....that colour of blue is just perfect. As for the alignment, maybe a tad off, but who cares!

Simon.. Thank you! .. This is a relatively rare dial... Not too common in the wild. The diamond looks dead in photos but it actually dancing in the changing lighting and glittering under the sun and epically in dim lighting, it is amazingly lively dial! Well done Rolex!

Wow! My jaw dropped when I opened this thread with an innocent title!!

I think it depends on the angle you're looking at it from.

Here is mine and it looks off center:

But here it doesn't:

Enjoy that amazing watch!

That's how they are, particularly when they haven't been wound for a bit and are running low on power reserve. Tap it on your palm in the right direction.

Crazy nice DD!!! I wouldn't sweat the alignment of the day... seems to be a common occurence and is probably "technically" correct and within Rolex specs.
