Gmt ii dlc

I've bought the left one in 2006 for my 40th birthday,I still love it and it's in mint condition. However , I was up to something new but different. So I've bought exactly the same one and had it customized by Titan black.
Does anyone like it ?

I like the look of it, but it does not look like a Rolex any longer. Is that newer ceramic bezel? IMO nothing matches up. Hell the cool thing , is you have two of them! So you can wear the OEM one or your custom.

Yes , it's the older GMT (2006) with the new ceramic bezel.
But I'll put the original bezel back on (also DLC'ed) then it looks more original...
I know you have to like it but I love it's personalised ; the black date wheel, the red second hand, etc.
I'll post a new pic when I've replaced the bezel.

Its awesome man! Life is way too short to worry about originality, especially if you have another. IMHO this thing looks pretty sweet if you are into the blacked out thing. :-)

I like it! It's cool to see something different with a Rolex - So many people, including myself, are too scared to do something different with their pieces -

IMHO - I like the old bezel better than the new! Just my .02!!

Of all the coatings....DLC is the ONLY one I would choose/like. I think it looks great, and adds a VERY durable finish.

Hey Guys , I know you're all genuine watch (rolex) lovers so I repect your feedback! Thanks!
For some of you a DLC rolex is like ... profanation.
But after wearing my GMT II (coke bezel) every day for the past 8 years I wanted something different,it took me a year to decide how I wanted it; to me it's not too much and I love it. The guys from Titan black did a great job!
I decided to wear it with the original bezel instead of the new ceramic one !
thx

Nice custom work.

I never knew you could put an a newer cermaic bezel on a older GMT... Did you swap out the bezel and insert to do this...? Has anyone else tried the ceramic bezel on the previous model GMT...?

It doesn't really fit...
You have to swap out the ceramaic lunette of a new bezel (or in my case ,just only buy one) Whit a little effort you can click it over the sapphire glass... it jus doen't turn anymore,it's then fixed.
Bit of improvising...that's why I've changed it again.

grtz
