Does anyone have experience with Wales Watches in Portland, Oregon?

It looks suspicious to me.
I found this business from an eBay listing from a user with a brand new account and zero feedback. I called them and the number is not active and continuously rings for a Verizon wireless provider. I then emailed them and it was kicked back saying the address was not found.

Address is of a shopping mall that doesn't have any record of them being a tenant. I was curious and went through the process of trying to buy a random watch and in the check out menu, the PayPal API in their website code isn't active.

I have to wonder what the motivation is on their end to have a really professional designed site with that much detail to just have it be fraud. I thought at first it was a template website for a developer to showcase their portfolio but i don't know why they would host it with contact info.

So IMHO just avoid

The address is Portland OR and the phone number is from Utah. No reviews on eBay. eBay listing shows that the watch will be shipped from Utah. I would recommend to avoid it until further verification/validation is made. Prices are on the low side but they don’t have enough listing to justify their high volume claim.

Hi, are you guys talking about the GMT Master Ref. 16710 they posted for sale on eBay? That listing states that they are located in St. George, Utah. However, the the link they posted states Portland, OR.

I live in Portland and can confirm that there is no business under their name at the location listed at their website.
I reported the auction to eBay.

Sept 30th, 2023 they have a new set of auctions going today on eBay. They are also pushing people to their website to save an additional 7%. Prices are too good to be true....

The only listing I currently see from them is a Tudor and it has authentication available for $80. If the buyer includes authentication, I don't think the seller gets the funds until it's authenticated and shipped to buyer. But, I'm not 100% certain on that.

Overall, not a risk I'd take, but, I don't think that one is fully without protection. I just think that it could be painful to work through.

Certainly seems a fraud.. they have a 71 1680 listed for $7500 on their website that the eBay listings point to.

Confirmed scam...I took the bait and getting Paypal to resolve it.
