Can’t take the grin off my face.

Popped into my AD, whilst my wife and daughter were clothes shopping.

Just having a little mooch around passing the time. Saw my SA who looks after me and he was busy with a client, so said hello and then left.

Later he sent me a message: “if you are still here pop by and see me, I have something for your birthday”

Had to go back later and was presented with this absolute dream watch

They made such a fuss of me that I felt giddy.

I also got a very nice Rolex wash bag as an extra gift.

Massive thanks to my WoS AD, they get a bad rap sometimes from some folks, but I have to say they treated me so amazingly! I felt like a king…

Such a versatile piece, congrats

Did they offer you a choice of size or did they just offer what they knew you might prefer?

I had requested the 36mm late last year and when the 40 was announced my SA asked me if I wanted to change to the 40, but I declined and said I would rather stick with the traditional size for the Explorer.

Looks great, and definitely fits your wrist better than the 40mm would have.

Based on the pic I’d say you made the right call. Timeless. Enjoy!

You have chosen wisely....... 36mm is the classic explorer size for sure!
