Hi all,
New here. Just picked up my fourth Rolex this week, my new daily a 126610LN, so figured I would hop on here.  My favorite is the slate dial YM40 126622, but it's just too nice for my somewhat hands on work environment, and worried about it getting too beat up. Love the ruggedness of the Sub and the brushed finish. Will take good care of it, but will not feel nearly as self-conscious about dings and scratches on it as the YM40 or SkyD. The Sky-Dweller was actually my first Rolex, purchased in 2020. Love it. Truly beautiful and amazing timepiece. Comes in really handy when having to interact with international colleagues in various time zones. It's a very unique watch that really stands out when you want something more on the flashy side. The LDJ 31 was an amazing find at our smaller, hometown, out of state AD that we randomly walked into when visiting last year. My wife wanted to get Rolex for herself eventually, but didn't know what she wanted. We saw it in the display case and it was love at first sight. A real shocker that it was actually available for sale and not an exhibition piece! Knew it was absolutely perfect and walked out with it. Also have two Breitlings, but Rolex has become "my brand". Love the classic timeless designs, ruggedness, low-maintenance, and exceptional accuracy. The resale value definitely doesn't hurt, either. Shooting for a two-tone black dial Daytona 126503 maybe next year sometime.  Cheers! |
