Hi Guys,
La Swiss in my local mall is moving - and is offering crazy crazy discounts on their watches.... including their brietlings

how crushed was i when i found out the almost 5k watch for 2k wasn't ISO certified for diving...(according to the sales woman & her "resource" she checked)

Why oh why would they make a super ocean, even if it is heritage and not go that extra little step??

now i don't know what I'm hoping for posting this - you guys tell me she's wrong, and i cry, or you tell me she's right, and i cry that I'm missing such a nice watch (IMHO)

If she's right is there a logic to this I'm missing?

Why don't you read the booklet yourself and verify the specs? Her "resource"? W T F does she mean, the person who assembled the watch at the factory? :D

I don't see why you couldn't wear it diving, I love that watch....

200 meters is okay for shallow diving - what most of us do.

I love this watch on the steel mesh bracelet. I only recently discovered it but the retro look it has really caught my eye. I am now reconsidering my third Rolex puchase in lieu of this monster.

Yeah this watch is definitely my next purchase. I will be taking a little bit of a pay cut when I leave the Navy and go into a civillian residency. There is no way I will make it three years without buying another watch. My Milgauss will have to wait until I make some more bank, but this will fill the hole in my heart nicely. I am thinking going with the bronze dial/bezel to contrast with my collection. Definitely getting the steel mesh bracelet. Very unique.

yes it's a beautiful watch..
I dive usually at 110-130 ft - my tech dives are working up to 255 ft. - so more then the average person.

If i wanted to sub watches out and just wanted one for the office, it would 100% be on my purchase list... just gorgeous.
