Oysterdate Precision 6694 (1966)

I'm in love with my well worn 6694 which was manufactured the same year as me...That lovely tapered riveted bracelet, the dial which can look white or silver or champagne depending on the light...The pure simplicity of the text and the shorter baton applied hour markers...The open 6s and 9s...The beautiful manual wind cal 1215..Understated class I reckon...
Please post more pics of your 6694...Let get an Oysterdate Precision post going...

I agree. The only reason I ever became interested in watches of any sort was my Dad's 1977 model 6694. It has a slightly different dial with larger indice markers and the folded bracelet. I have always thought it is the most understated and elegant of watches.

P.S. Should this thread perhaps be in "Rolex Watch Gallery"?

the 6694 is one beautiful watch; with its workhorse movement. great for dress occasions.

good condition rivet bracelets are getting harder and harder to find by the day. in singapore, the RSC dont even have all the links available anymore.
