That's cold Gary but you may feel warmer knowing that 2/3rds of the population of the world have never seen snow.

For me the heat beats the cold. But anything in an extreme does not work.

Snow is possible in Yucca Valley Thurs. And that is where I will be in my little desert shack enjoying the snow and cast iron stove.

Here in So Cal. Snow is a rare event. especially in the desert.

Real happy from 60f to 120f anything above or below that is misery.

You should just hike down there Paul. Have a spot of tea. Then hike back. Would make for a nice day trip for an ambitious hiker such as you.

I am doing 20 miles this year Abdullah, maybe 25. Have been training and today am half way through a 10 mike walk. Last year I did 16 miles on the mountain, as soon as it warms up a bit I’m heading out and conquering the 20 mile barrier, then maybe more.

Well done Paul!
Keep training and you'll be running those distances with me sooner than later

Cold continues here for at least 10 more days. Thinking 20....

But hey, winter tire laws in south of Finland says I can put summer tires on march first! How do you think that will go?

Was minus 23 last night.

Those are OK. Minus 23 is not.

Can't walk the dogs. Dachshunds are obviously pre-programmed to max minus 10.

Not to mention it’s even colder than -23° down where they dwell.

Yeah minus 23 is a little extreme. Get the dog a winter coat, maybe he'll go outside then

Are these temps F or C? If C, they aren’t too bad.

We have a bunch of them. Looks like two small sausages in a Canada Goose jacket.
