Let me know when you receive your order. What did you order if you don’t mind me asking? I’m more concerned about quantity since I’m going to order 75/100. If I’m haviing 225-250 guests and it will be set up and manned along with nice scotch do you think that’s enough? I figure out of 125 men possible 50% will want a “Cuban” to celebrate. Let me know your thoughts, thanks.

i regularly order from iHavanas with no issue. they seem to have the best prices online in general.

when i want something harder to get or if i want a particular bar code on a box, i order from Cigars of Habanos.

I have a box of hoyo de monterey epicure de luxe in transit right now from the former.

Recently while in Canada on business, I strolled through the duty free store. I was surprised to find out that you can now bring $100.00 worth of Cubans back to the USA!

Is this a younger crowd or older? You might end up with a lot of extra cigars... would be a shame if they went to waste. Then again, I’m only a short drive away from you so I would be glad to take any left-overs off your hands.

I ordered a box of the Partagas D4 cigars. I like that ring size and length and the reviews were good.

Let me get this straight, I can purchase Authentic Habanos Cubans from here in the states with very little percentage of problems? Here’s my thing, supposedly Cubans are just as faked as Rolex. How do you guys/gals know you are smoking authentic Habanos. Thx in advance.

Expect double the price of Switzerland vendors. Canada taxes on cigars are so high many Canadians can't afford them!

Mixed crowd, probably 40% 30-40 year olds, and 60% 40 plus. I know my father, uncles, and a few friends love cigars. I think 75 should be more than enough I would just hate to run out. If I have extras they will go to my father/uncle. I’m concerned about actually receiving after ordering, regardless I think it may make sense to order separately.

Well, my order came in last night. 25 Cubans are resting comfortably in my humidor. They seem fresh and smell wonderful. I can't wait to light one up this weekend!

So about 2 weeks and they look good. Sounds like i know where im sourcing them from.

Now I just need to figure out my humidor or lack of humidor situation. Some say boveda in plastic tupperware but let it air out weekly for an hour or two, I have to figure this out as well.

you can keep them in my humidor
For cubans, tupperware and a couple of 65 boveda packs and you’re set. Keep the temps below 72 degrees also.

Your best bet is to go to an authentic La Casa Del Habano store the next time you are overseas. You can then inspect authentic sticks looking at the cap, band, box, box stickers and box codes. Next step is to wing it and buy from an online source that someone recommends and compare your findings.

Bottom line it all comes down to experience and education.
