I'm Done with Rolex and my YM!!

I am so sick and tired of dealing with these problems that this watch has. I put it on this afternoon to help my father fix a part of my fence and when we were done I figured I would check the accuracy.

Since the time change this piece of crap is +2 sec. total, not only that but the frickin date just changed a whole 4 seconds early of midnight. These watches suck, I am dumping this one first thing in the morning.

On side note, I did enjoy a three watch day (88,111 and YM) and I am gonna try to take some pics of my Dads DJ and my YM while he is in town. I love seeing him wear that baby that I gave him as a gift. And if anyone was wondering, he wears the hell out of it, it repaired a fence today. I have some other chores for him tommorow and he will wear it while doing those too I am sure of it.

You're right. Piece of crap. You got ripped off. I'll do you a favor and take it off your hands for a few hundred, at least you'll get enough back for a nice dinner that way. Your other option is to give it to me as a Christmas present, which would be a particularly nice gesture on your part

Relax, it is on the wrist smiling at me as I type this.

I am taking my 88 to my watchmaker in the morning, he will keep it a few days to give the case a nice polishing and also time it for me. He may adjust it he may not. I told him to get it as close to +1 or 2 a day. I think it is just about -1 now.

So the YM may get a little more time while my folks are here.

Too late, you tosser....I'm still in the ICU!!

But, hey Daren, on a more serious note....try this....works the same way with my YM.

If it's -1 now, park it at night on your dresser crown DOWN. Do it tonight and report to me in the morning!!

Hey Daren If you saw Roger's sticky about the secret santa you can be mine and I'll take it off your hands. If not I'll beat Micah's offer of $200 hoe about $250.

LOL, about 1 this morning I gained a new appreciation for Rolex as well as some other brands I've owned. Went to bed with my old quartz Seamaster on last night. At 1 am I got woke up, looked at my watch and the date was still in the middle of changing! I thought, what a POS and it's even quartz. No excuse for that

Anyway, send me that POS YM of yours. I don't want it to irritate you anymore

I am not interested if my watch keeps "perfect" time. I only checked because I was bored.

Seriously, for as much time as it has spent on the winder I am blown away with how great this watch performs. These Rolex are really amazing when they are correctly tuned in.

LOL at the date change Bruce, I have never seen it flip over before.

For the record, my K series ExpII has been consistenly running +1.5 a day for over nine months. And this bad boy is worn probably six days out of seven for all tasks around the house and the office.
