The IWC Portugieser Annual Calendar (IW503502)... what are your thoughts?
I am curious what the board thinks about the watch. Thinking it could be a sweet addition to wear with suits and/or business casual.
Is it too big? Any thoughts on the calibre? Do I even bother with an annual calendar? |

LOVE! I have a big pilot on my wishlist so I have a bias toward IWC. The annual calendar looks great and even though its on the bigger side at 44, I feel it is dressy enough to go with any suit. Its not too flashy so it would go great for that cuff slip shot! As for me, I dont have the kind of funds, yet, to drop on it so I would pass... lol

I like the look of the watch and have owned it's big brother, the Perpetual, for several years.
It's a big watch, if I was to go again I'd try to find something smaller and slimmer. If you've got larger wrists it'll be great though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

It works business causal but not really with a suit unless you get your shirt cuffs made with plenty of space n the wrist you wear the watch.

I'm a fan, for sure. Love an annual calendar complication, and love the layout of the dial on the IWC.

It looks great and well made. I thought about it but can't see myself wearing it. Too big and loud for my working playground, and too gentle with low WR and gator strap to be sporty.

I have 7 3/4” wrists and the Omega Speedmaster co-axial (44.25mm) fits me well. An IW503502 would fit me well too. I’ve recently been bitten by the IWC bug and will soon be scratching that particular itch.
The one thing about a couple IWC models i can’t stand is when the sub-dials cut off the 12 and 6. Or the 2/4 and 7/9. Other than that I’m having a devil of a time deciding which IWC to get first.
