Had a fall with the baby in my arms
Was walking down the front driveway with our 20mnth baby/toddler in my arms because the wife was watering the garden and he kept saying mummy and wanted to go see what she's doing.
Not paying attention missed the garden hose across the ground and stepped on it and it rolled under my foot and I fell backwards to save the kid I kinda fell backwards on my ass with my left wrist down and the baby against my body. The baby was fine , crying a bit from the shock but otherwise unscathed. As I sat on the steps recovering from what just happened I looked down at my watch .... what the hell happened here ? |

Oh my goodness! I'm glad both the you and the baby were ok here, that was a close one. Sorry about the watch but that seems easily fixed / bent back into place.

Glad you and baby are fine. Looks like you popped the spring bar and the end link is pushed out of place. Should be an easy fix.

Thanks guys
I knew the baby was fine because as he was crying a car drove past , and he stopped crying and pointed to it and said " car ! Car !" :) And the watch is good too , I'm surprised it didn't do any damage to my wrist , I just kind of slid the hollow end link back and it snapped back into place , maybe a bit of extra stretch ;) |
