Day-Date Red Quarters Dial Question

Hi, Day-Date collectors. I am a big fan of the red quarters dial. Just want to know which production years/period does the beautiful dial appear on Day-Dates? Also, I often see the dial design in white background, is there a black background version? A non-lume version?

For those who are not familiar with the said dial, it is a dial design used in non-quick Day-Date models incorporating baton stick markers with 5 minute track on the outer edge, in which the 15, 30, 45 and 60, or quarter markers are colored red instead of color black like the rest of the numerals. See accompanying picture.

All advises is much appreciated.
