Anyone else (besides me) that loves RV's?

I just love motorhomes and have had my fair share of them.

Anyone else?

Would love to see pics.

You know what Gunter, I've seen your avatar many times but this is the first time I see that Prevost.

Growing up we had a motor home and travelled to Florida for Spring and Christmas breaks. My wife and I have a 30' travel trailer now. Lots of good memories.

I grew up traveling the USA in them. Father has had American eagles, newmar Essex and mountain aire, and currently has a 2018 Foretravel IH45 on order. Prevost bus conversions are nice but not all are equal. Marathon is the best outfitter, followed by millennium, and then featherlight in 3rd. The best true motorhome and really better than the bus conversions is Newell. They are the pinnacle. Designed from the ground up to be the best.

Anyone looking at a motorhome remember the rule of thumb, from the cheapest to the most expensive. 30% off msrp. Same goes for high end go fast boats

Sorry that's not the prevost behind my vette. That was a 43' my ex and I had. I really should change my profile pic I guess since I no longer have that house, that car, or the RV.... hahaha

Their prevost was a marathon conversion. I guess heated marble floors in a RV I thought was a little over the top. They did buy it used but it was only 2-3 years old with only 5k miles on it.

I haven't the foggiest how much they run but a neighbor's new Airstream Interstate Touring Coach looks far nicer than our first house.

Hmm, I thought I would wake up to see pics of lovely motorhomes?

Guess I'll have to go watch the shoe thread instead.

I had something that looked like this in the 80's (not my picture, but spot on).

I looked into RV's ten ears ago. My mom and dad rented one after they sold their sail boat to see if that would be a good replacement hobby. I like the comfort, but it was costly and mobility was lacking. It couldn't go places I like to go. If you're going to burn that much gas and drag your 4x4 around behind you, you might as well rent a nice hotel room as your base camp and head out from there.

You hang a scooter in the back and you're all set.

We're planning on cruising Europe this summer down to Gibraltar.

I want to buy a motorhome but the wife wants to go in the convertible and stay at hotels.

We'll see who wins this tug of war.

Will this be an amphibious RV you're taking to Gibraltar?

I have my eyes on this (just came out on the market) or if she wins it will be this.

The MB has been in hibernation since october last year and I'm going to "free" it on Sunday.

Seems on the small side (only two axles). Are you certain you can be comfortable in this?

RV ownership doesn't fit into our lifestyle. I'd consider renting one for occasional trips but that would be the only use case.

I had a 32' class A RV I bought at a storage auction when I was 19. Wish I never sold it. Had a 454 with 59,000 miles on it. It had everything, full kitchen, small living room, bathroom with a shower, thing was a house on wheels. Had enough room to sleep 6, I'd like to get another one someday.
