Anyone know of a good restaurant in Ocala, FL?

I’m off to hurricaneland tomorrow and celebrating my wife’s birthday on Saturday. We are here for a family event so not the ideal location for a birthday celebration but Saturday happens to be her actual birthday and we will be in Ocala so we are going to celebrate. The only question is where.

Depending on what you're after:

Mark's Prime Steakhouse https://marksprimesteakhouse.com/

Italian: Mesa de Notte (doesn't look like much outside, but a great restaurant inside) http://www.mesaocala.com

Asian: Sky Asian Fusion https://www.opentable.com/sky-asian-fusion

French: La Cusine http://lacuisineocala.com/

Latin: Latinos Y Mas (as referenced above)

Breakfast/lunch: Symmetry Coffee and Crepes https://www.symmetrycoffeecrepes.com/

Great high little place downtown called PI.

Fantastic food and a spectacular beer list

If you are a craft beer fan, give Infinite Ale Works a try.

There is a great little place for breakfast called Symmetry Coffee and Crepes. Good food and better coffee.

My daughter lives just outside of Ocala.

If you don't mind a small drive, the "Villages" must have a hundred nice places to eat. My Sister lives there and it really is something to see.

Try to stop at Big Lee's BBQ, it's supposed to be outstanding.

We ended up going to Mesa de Notte in Ocala and honestly, the food was excellent. I had Cernia al Saffron which was excellent. A really memorable meal with family, we really enjoyed it.

Had a nice stay and tomorrow we fly back home to San Diego.

Thanks everyone for the tips.
