Picked up a new Explorer Mr 2 from my AD this week and it hasn’t been off of my wrist since.
It’s a classic.

I have the mark 2 explorer for recent purchase, but been looking for awhile and never seen an explorer 1 in the wild either, in 10 years. Seen everything else, lange, patek, cellini, dd, subs, GMTs, vacheron, richard mille even.

Excellent story! Cannot agree more. Was lusting over a Sub C(no date) after I got my 214270, wondered what-if. But it makes me love my explorer more. This watch has magic in slowly releasing its charm.
