Rolex AD stock in India - pretty good!!

Stopped by the AP AD in Delhi who is also a Rolex retailer. He said they get one of each professional every month by that the waiting list is 18 to 30 months for most. But there still were some nice watches. Enjoy! I can share salesman info if anyone would like it.

Thanks for sharing a nice selection and honest up front AD there.

Sad to see the smurf (OK WG Submariner for the purists) sat there in the window. This seems to be a common occurrence in most large ADs. In the window and unsold. This makes me think I should buy now, as I love the watch but with low sales it is a likely candidate to be culled in the near future but then become popular to the collectors and become more expensive. A bit like the SD4K has become despite never selling in high numbers new.

Thanks again.

The only Sub Date I've ever seen on display at my AD. Way more than I'm prepared to spend on a watch, but what a beauty.

The OP display looks very good. I've never seen anything like that in the UK in an AD.

My kind of AD. Calculators on the glass display and good stock. Aka: Nobody leaves without doing a deal.

Hope you bought one.

I have also thought about getting the Smurf; but what if the WG version was to be culled, then it brought back in SS? Not sure that I would be too happy about that, so think I will hold off.

Couple of prices for India.

SubC = ₹471,700 ($6,629 USD)
Pepsi = ₹584,300 ($8,211 USD)

Seems like a bargain!

Dont think they will replace such a popular and premium colour and cannibalize such a high profit sku
The submariner being replaced with a new movement seems to be the talk though

Is that a SubC in the display? And for sale (not one of those just to lure you in and then tell you it's already been sold/some collector wants to display it in their window for other people to try it on)? Havent seen one since 2017.

White Gold blue dial is MSRP in the store or do they charge more than India MSRP? May be tempting with the dollar exchange rate!

The WG Sub is one of the under the radar classics! It’s got a lot of firsts behind it. I doubt you would see this color build in SS. Thanks for sharing!

There is a remote chance of that happening. The blue dial and bezel are reserved for WG. People have been saying there will be a SS Smurf for years and it hasn't happened.

Fantastic photo

Captures the uniqueness of this particular sub. With that lovely white gold hue.

I've heard the same thing about India over the years. It is a growing market, also it is a culture where PM, especially yellow gold, is king.

If I were planning a vacation there, I'd plan on saving up for a big purchase as well. The exchange rate is great and could possibly bundle a great deal together.

I'm sure the customer service is worlds ahead of the West as well.
