Gmt dilemma
Do I keep my BLRO or trade it for the CHNR which really appeals to me and has tremendous wrist appeal.
Will I regret doing this? |

I passed on a BLRO but the CHNR would be a keeper?
If I ever see one in Oz.

Gmt dilemma
Only you can truly decide on this. You would only regret if you do not follow your heart. Ask yourself why you got the GMT BLRO in the first place. If insignificant, then get the CHNR as you stated yourself this reference appeals to you more.

The question you should be asking yourself is why do I dislike my BLRO so much that I want to get rid of it, what's changed so much that I no longer enjoy wearing it?
Or is it that you simply have an itch and only a CHNR will cure it.................................... for the moment.

The CHNR is the most beautiful GMT imho.
I used to own the 116713LN (TT YG) until I gave it away and I always enjoyed wearing that watch very much. I never got tired off it and I will buy a TT GMT again. The Everose and SS combi works really well, especially with that bezel. I wait for the 2020 model on a Jubilee

I would always aim to keep both if at all possible. And what a beautiful set they would be. If this is not possible, then obviously, you should go with the one that appeals the most.
I welcomed a new BLRO in SS and after some cogitation decided to start asking about joining lists. By the time I got around to enquiring, it was too late. A year and a half down the road I don'r want a SS BLRO now. The novelty has worn off. And I don't particularly like the jubilee bracelet on this watch. By coincidence I bumped into a TT CHNR in the metal and couldn't take my eyes off it. This was unexpected. It really works visually in the metal. I'm now on the list for one. So I can see where you are coming from. If I was you I would get the CHNR over the BLRO if it was not possible to keep both. Would I regret it? Not for a second. Would you regret it? Well, that's the question isn't it? I can't answer because I'm not you. |

I own the CHNR and feel it is the better every day long term watch over the BLRO. Just my personal preference. I wore a 16710 Pepsi for years which I tired of wearing in the end, although it does get the occasional wrist time now.
The blend of colours on the modern CHNR are unbeatable in my opinion and to my eye its the best looking and most desirable modern sport Rolex money can buy bar none. |

You’ll get a wide range of answers based solely on who prefers what.
I much prefer the BLRO, but I say that and am not trying to sway your opinion. I also think that the CHNR is a gorgeous reference, but I wonder if the rose gold color will look dated in time |

I would not but that’s because I never sell any of my watches.
Unless you have fallen out of love with the BLRO and you love CHNR that much, add it to collection.

If you love it, get it. Just try to make sure you really want it, although worse comes to worse you could sell it at a very small loss or even a gain.

Think about how you want to wear it. The CHNR is a beautiful watch but the TT may make you avoid wearing it in certain situations. Really up to you but something to consider since the BLRO is a little more casual possibly.

TT are hot IMHO and I cannot tell how many compliments I get on them. I’ve never gotten a compliment on a SS yet except just once at ACE hardware and the clerk there just happened to know his watches. TT are also extremely popular with the younger crowds especially the ladies. Now, I surely didn’t get TT for those reasons. I’m a subtle person. But for me personally I’ve always loved TT and I get what I like. It just so happens that TT have gained and gaining even more in the popularity department and the CHNR is no exception. It’s a gorgeous watch.

When mulling a trade a implement a mandatory "cooling off period" after which I sometimes realize that I would regret the move. I was contemplating trying to trade my Daytona C for a TT Skydweller, but realized that I would regret giving up the Daytona.

Brian always dropping the logic and wisdom! I dig the CHNR too, but the BLRO colours are awfully nice to have on the wrist.

Don’t know you personally (so I can’t possibly answer for you), but I believe the BLRO is in a league of its own. Nicer than it’s PM counterpart (with exception of meteorite dial which is king). The CHNR is very cool IMO, but not in a class with BLRO. |

If you can work out a 1 for 1 swap then do it.
