lange is created for people that understand money is for enjoyment (the sheer beauty of lange and intimacy between lange and me) I dont need to know whether my client know what I am wearing, I am not seeking other people's attention from the watch. I wear lange to impress myself that I own the most beautiful watch man can imagine.

Classic cars and mechanical watches are captivating. Particularly if they rank among the rare ones that people dream about. As technical masterpieces, they embody values that are important to us. They reflect inventiveness, a sense of style and the quest for records: the most beautiful vehicle, the most precious timepiece.

This is the spirit that underlies A. Lange & Söhne’s partnerships with the Concours of Elegance Hampton Court Palace and the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este. At these high-calibre competitions, devotees of the most noble automobiles meet the collectors and connoisseurs of exclusive timepieces.

We are pleased to announce that, through our digital activities, you will be able to participate in these unique events. Throughout the event period, a wealth of exciting content will await you on our social media channels.

As a highlight, we recommend our Instagram Live Sessions in which, during an exclusive tour with us and some exciting guests, you can experience the atmosphere of the events first-hand.

Concours of Elegance Hampton Court Palace, 3 to 5 September 2021
Instagram Live Session
Friday, 3 September 2021, from 5 p.m. CEST

Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, 1 to 3 October 2021
Instagram Live Session
Friday, 1 October 2021, from 5.45 p.m. CEST

Love the watch and box. Why is it blue and not say slate grey?

Serious question - why would it be one of those colors over another? Is slate grey the official color of Lange or something?

Thanks Russell. I used to like getting my slate grey watch catalogue each year and displaying it on the coffee table, mainly open at the Lange 1 page. I think it would be at the Odysseus page now. I did get an invite to the factory back around 2014 from Leon Maartens Maastricht once, but it got cancelled. I was on the verge of getting a Lange 1, but went with a DD40mm in the end as I could use it in all situations. I'd love a Odysseus and would trade my GMT, but I've not even asked as I have assumed it is a hopeless case.

Congratulations. I actually enjoy the OG moon display a bit more than the updated day/night indicator (just a bit more classically styled imo). Great pickup!

$690k

I love the Dato Lumen, but who in their right mind would pay Tourbograph + Dato Up/Down money for a Dato Lumen?
