Not a chance I’ll be selling mine. Waited 2.5 years for my second watch and can’t stop looking at it.

It was not a Rolex policy. It never has been.

Why not ask the AD?

I asked when I bought my sub in 2018 and it was to try and stop the buyer re selling but didn’t realise they hadn’t kept the current one until I got home.

My answer is that it’s more of a “qualifier” move by the AD. I’m sure their “Rolex Authorize dealership” it’s not something to be risked, over a tarnished reputation by flippers.

Sounds like something AD's were doing to weed out flippers while circumventing the rules Rolex placed upon them. Wouldn't be a big surprise if Rolex told them to knock it off once they became aware of it.

Ok thanks everyone. Like I said it wouldn’t bother me either way if they did keep it for a certain amount of time but nicer to get everything together when you do purchase the watch

My first AD held on to my warranty card for 6 months for a submariner with date. My second AD gave me the warranty card on the spot for CHNR. So I guess each AD sets their own ‘rules’.
